As your Parliamentary candidate for the next Westminster election I have been extremely busy since I was selected to contest the seat last October. I already represent 12,000 residents in South West Edinburgh at Council level and I have enjoyed meeting more people across the constituency, listening to their concerns and issues. We are living in a period of great financial turbulence and there are few who have not been affected by hits to their savings and pensions or do not know of someone who has been made redundant. The next Westminster elections are a chance to change your MP and to elect a new progressive government under David Cameron. In Edinburgh South West we have a real chance to influence that positive change and I look forward to continuing to campaign for you.
